Mandola Plus

This is the perfect way to add a new tone to your mando jams. The Michael Kelly Mandola Plus is a hard to find f-style mandola at a price that won’t break the bank. With a body and scale length that is larger than a typical f-style, the instrument is tuned in fifths, to the pitches of the viola (C-G-D-A low-to-high), a fifth lower than a mandolin; the courses are tuned in unison rather than in octaves. It’s solid flame maple back looks good and sounds even better. The top is hand carved spruce.
